DeLaval acknowledged best in class by German Agricultural Society (DLG) Image Barometer 2015
For the first time in its company history, DeLaval has taken home the top spot in the category "Livestock Technology", represented in this year's Image Barometer of the German Agricultural Society (DLG) (45 points). Beating its main competitors, DeLaval improved its performance to the previous year, and was the only company among the top five to develop positively.
"This is a fantastic achievement and confirms that DeLaval, with its innovative product solutions and support services among farmers, enjoys very high confidence. We are not only proud of our employees, but equally of our DeLaval agricultural services," says Dr. Stephan Lais, CEO of DeLaval GmbH Germany.
In the annual survey of the DLG, more than 700 German farmers are surveyed on their brand perception. In total, the survey covers seven areas: agricultural technology, livestock technology, forage and equipment (animal), agrochemicals and seeds, banks and insurance companies, trade and service providers as well as renewable energies. The calculated brand index consists of the categories brand loyalty, brand knowledge, brand performance and brand image. A maximum score of 100 points can be achieved. The DLG Image Barometer has been carried out for 20 years now.
