AgroFarm 2014 in Moscow, Russia, was an excellent opportunity for DeLaval to present innovative solutions to customers from Belarus, Kazakhstan, Russia and Ukraine.
The international exhibition for animal husbandry and breeding – held at Moscow’s All-Russian Exhibition Centre in February – continues to grow. This year some 370 exhibitors from 29 countries were present at the event, which attracted around 10,000 visitors according to organisers DLG International GmbH.
The technical program remains one of AgroFarm’s main draws. The forums this year consisted of 55 specialist events and DeLaval presentations took place at the Animal Husbandry business forum. They featured high-level expertise, demos of our products and solutions, and also consultancy services from our project management team.
A large booth, demo areas and herd management zone gave visitors the chance to meet DeLaval experts and explore DeLaval tools and solutions. Among the novelty attractions at the DeLaval booth were, the ethno-pop group from Udmurt Republic that represented Russia at the Eurovision Song Contest 2012, and also a kids club.
Herd Navigator won the Best Product Award at AgroFarm 2014. According to the event website, “the award is given for products that have the most positive impact on Russian livestock farms and those that increase competitiveness of animal production in Russia. Particular attention is paid to the relation between investment volume and economic benefits of these products.”
